TRANSIT
FILMFEST

Transit Filmfest presents: SUZANNE, SUZANNE and FINDING CHRISTA. Egoism as resistance: Fearless biographical documentaries depicting the paradoxical realities of a Black woman's life. Artist and director Camille Billops rigorously examines the most decisive moments of her biography: In SUZANNE, SUZANNE, she confronts her female family members with the suppressed experiences of their shared past after the death of her abusive father. In FINDING CHRISTA, she reflects on her role as an absent mother who, in favor of an artistic career, gave her own daughter up for adoption.
