The pandemic is a challenge for all of us, but everyone experiences its hardships in their own unique way. Whether it’s video conferencing (‘Meeting’), homeschooling (‘The Mission’), cruise quarantine (‘Pengsionists’), among friends (‘Girl Who Cried Wolf’, ‘Never Alone’) or on the mountain (‘Not Too Close’) – the pitfalls of communication under pandemic conditions lurk everywhere. In this ‘Corona’ short film night on the occasion of the Regensburg Short Film Week, the young filmmakers also try to wring something funny out of your situation.

The normal madness of homeschooling during the pandemic: Mine has exactly 20 minutes left to upload her daughter’s homework. Since she hasn’t done anything, Mine has to take action herself. In her distress, she steals a classmate’s notebook. This, however, calls the classmate’s mother into action, who has been fiddling with it all morning and is not prepared to look back on her heroic deed.
