Special 1 – Austellung

What does it feel like when life has just really begun – and suddenly someone presses stop? This question in relation to the transformation that Corona means for the lives of young people is the subject of a comprehensive photographic portrait of his own generation by Regensburg-born Valentin Goppel, commissioned by DIE ZEIT. Valentin was born in Regensburg in 2000 and is currently studying documentary photography in Hanover. His photos have already won several awards and been published. As part of the transformation program of the Short Film Week, he presents the photographic portrait, which has been created since January 2020, at the Neuer Kunstverein e.V. and (a cross-section of it) at W1 – Center for Young Culture.
