SIX ACTS (SHESH PEAMIM) Jonathan Gurfinkel, Israel 2012, color, 100 min, Hebrew OV, English UT Jonathan Gurfinkel’s first feature film (screenplay: Rona Segal) shows how a teenage girl trades her dignity for an illusory sense of belonging: naive teenager Gili hopes to improve her social status by getting involved with the coolest guy at her new school. He passes her on to his friends, and soon all the guys know her reputation. With each new encounter, she pushes her limits, and the boundaries of consent begin to blur. A sensitive portrait of an average girl increasingly consumed by an oversexualized teenage world, challenging conventional notions of consent, exploitation and complicity. Starring: Sivan Levy, Eviatar Mor, Roy Nick, Niv Zilberberg.
The event is supported by the Consulate General of the State of Israel in Munich.
